We are so grateful for this wonderful post written by some partners of ours....continue to share our story and our bridge will be built!! Thank you.
For the next leg of our journey, MaaViva was ever so grateful to be welcomed at the airport in Arusha, Tanzania by Patrick Paul and Edmund Ntwale of Simple Hope. Simple Hope is a Wisconsin organization who is “Building a bridge of love between our worlds by simply serving God's people with hope. We are an ecumenical organization welcoming all people in any walk of faith to help us bring hope to those who have none.” And they are doing just that!
Simple Hope has a center near Lake Eyasi, Tanzania for the Hadza (or Hadzabe) people of the region. The Hadza are an indigenous hunter/gather culture of north-central Tanzania. Their nomadic way of life and the nature and animals that they depend upon have all come under increasing pressure from encroachment by farming and herding people as well as the tourism and safari culture. Like many indigenous nature people forced out of their traditional way of life, they have been plagued by poverty, disease, and alcoholism, and have even been said to face extinction.
The Simple Hope Center provides the nomadic Hadza with a base, fresh clean water, and an emerging garden of Eden with their developing tropical fruit orchard, small scale agriculture, and other food projects.
MaaViva is so thankful to partners Simple Hope, Karen Puhl, Pamela S Patrick Paul. Edmund, and the Hadza people for welcoming us and for allowing us to be part of your lovely mission!
Thanks to Zuri Burns for the photography!
Our FFHC director says Thank you Rotaries for all you have done to help purchase fruit trees to help The Hadzabe, the Orphanage and Kingori food project.
Thank you to ALL the Rotaries who donated trees for Tanzania. The purchase of these trees will help so many in the near future. You are a shining example of how loving others across the world will have a lasting effect on our world. Thank you again and again.

To request us to share our story please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org We look forward to hearing from you.
Progress on the new Chicken House...today the remaining bricks were delivered. May God continue to bless everyone who is helping or who have helped get the needed funding. We are grateful and thankful for everyone.

A beautiful woman and her children enjoying clean water from The Foundation For Hope Center....this is a huge blessing to so many...and many more are coming for this respite...
Hope is not a simple thing; on the contrary, it is probably one of the most complicated things yet Simple Hope has found a combination that works wonderfully well.
FEATURE STORY OF THE WEEK!! A HUGE thank you goes to sweet Ashlei and her classmates Kaitlyn and kayli from Lane Intermediate school in West Allis Wisconsin. They were given a class project of finding a water project in Africa that they could support through a fundraiser! These three girls chose and lifted up Simple Hope to their school and raised $746.00 toward helping our clean water project! WE are so PROUD of these young girls who cared enough to love and support others across the world!. Please say a word of thanks here on Facebook to all three of these wonderful girls. WAY TO GO!!!
Happy New Year! We are thankful for YOU and your overwhelming and kind support to help us serve the underserved in Tanzania Africa. 2017 was a wonderful year and we continue to see growth both physically and spiritually with the communities we serve. We pray that God will direct our hands and feet to do more work in his kingdom. Our prayer is to continue to teach and serve and present new opportunities for the Hadzabe and mamas in Kingori. Your prayers are our foundation and they are helping us each and every day! Thank you again for your support..we appreciate it very much!!

Reality hit today at The FFHC. This Black Mamba (deadliest snake in Africa) decided to slither into our tree grove. Thank you to the Hadzabe and Patrick our director for spotting and killing it. If you are bit by this snake you have 5 minutes to live. REMEMBER, there is NO transportation for Patrick so getting to a hospital would not be happening. This is one huge danger for our bush community. Patrick also expressed how frightened he is with this threat daily. Please keep them all in your prayers that the serpent goes elsewhere where nobody can be injured. Also scorpions are a huge danger as well. Let them go far away from our center.
